What Functional Wellness ?

Functional wellness is a personalised, root-cause approach to health that looks at how the body’s systems work together as a whole. Rather than simply managing symptoms, the focus is on understanding why you may be feeling out of balance and supporting the body through sustainable lifestyle changes.

This can include areas such as nutrition, movement, sleep, stress management, hormone health, digestion, energy, and mindset - all of which play a vital role in overall well-being.

My approach considers the bigger picture: your daily habits, life demands, relationships, work-life balance, and the challenges that may be affecting your health. Together, we create realistic strategies that help restore balance, improve how you feel, and support long-term wellness in a way that fits your life.

My Journey

For many years while working as a skin specialist I realised that I was seeing skin conditions that were stemming from deeper issues within the body and I often found was coaching clients in nutrition, lifestyle and hormonal changes that can all effect the skin. I truly believe when it comes to treating your skin you must look at the body as a whole.

Since becoming a Mum myself, working and living in a very fast pace life - it can be hard to strike the right balance. I made changes to my own nutrition and lifestyle I have seen the positive impact of making healthier lifestyle choices when it comes to feeling energised and looking refreshed. It can be quite overwhelming in this day and age with so much information coming at us - what really will work best for you ? Every person is different and has different needs when it comes to lifestyle and nutritional advice. This is where a health coach will be able to help guide you.

When deciding where to study health coaching, I chose the College of Naturopathic Medicine in London. I knew their program would provide the high-quality education I needed to give my clients the very best support and knowledge I could give them.
